Hours of Operation:
Monday to Friday - 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Hours of operation at the Centre are designed to accommodate the flexible working hours of the parents. The Centre, however, operates on a 9.5 (nine and one half) hour day.
If a child is cared for longer than 9.5 hours a day, then a $5.00 fee per day will be charged. It is not the policy of Cobourg Day Care Inc. to encourage parents to leave their child at the Centre in excess of 9.5 hours per day.

* In addition, any other statutory holiday proclaimed by the Municipal, Provincial or Federal Governments. Please note there will not be any reduction in fees for these days.

Phone Calls to the Centre
One of the busiest times of day at the Centre is between the hours of 11:00 and 1:00 when staff are meeting the children’s needs through lunch, washroom routine and getting ready for SLEEP TIME. Rather than put calls through to the room during this time, the office staff will assist you with any questions, messages, or information you may require.
Cobourg Day Care Inc. is licensed under the Day Nurseries Branch of the Ministry of Community Family and Children’s sServices and is required to meet all health and fire regulations. Licensing requires that the program meets the standards set out by the Day Nurseries Act ensuring the well-being of the children. The license is renewed on a yearly basis.
