JK/SK Room Goals
By the time the children move up to the School Age Room we hope that they are able to:

recognize and print their name |

verbal skills – tell your name, address, birthday, parents names, and telephone number |

grip pencil correctly |

move paper while cutting |

 We plan stimulating experiences in a warm and secure setting that fosters the growth of each child as an individual. The group supports and stimulates each other in a family-like atmosphere of caring and sharing.
The JK/SK program at Cobourg Day Care offers care to approximately 30 children, ranging in age from 3.9 years to 6 years. The JK/SK program offers Before School Care, After School Care and Monday, Wednesday e/o Friday, and Tuesday, Thursday e/o Friday full day care.
 Before School Care:
Includes children that are attending school for JK/SK and School Age.
Monday, Wednesday and e/o Friday:
Includes children who attend school on Tuesday, Thursday and e/o Friday.
Tuesday, Thursday and e/o Friday care:
Includes children who attend school on Monday, Wednesday and e/o Friday.
After School care:
Includes children who have attended school that day, including JK/SK and School Age
